In Kampoeng Presak, you’ll witness the making of Kembang Komak handwoven textiles—crafted using age-old techniques on wooden looms. Just steps away, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee fills the air, offering a glimpse into another cherished village tradition. Seasonal fruits from local gardens complete this sensory introduction to rural life.
The journey continues to Kampoeng Ombak and Kampoeng Batu Jering, where you explore Bonjeruk Organic’s diverse plant life. Here, you join a hands-on workshop to create traditional products—an experience that blends learning, creativity, and local knowledge in an enjoyable and interactive way.
A delicious lunch awaits at Kantin 21, surrounded by fields and village scenery. Guests then proceed to the homestay for check-in, where colonial-era architecture from the 1930s creates a nostalgic and comforting atmosphere. Each homestay is hosted by welcoming local families who provide simple yet warm accommodation.
As the afternoon cools, a guided village cycling tour takes you through quiet streets, rice fields, and historical corners of Bonjeruk. The ride concludes at Pasar Bambu Bonjeruk, a bamboo-themed market serving snacks, refreshments, and handmade goods. Evening falls with a memorable dinner beneath a bamboo garden—one of the signature highlights of the program.
Day 2 – Cultural Immersion & Farewell Flavors
The next morning begins with breakfast at the homestay, followed by a cycling trip to the heart of Bonjeruk’s cultural heartbeat: the Gema Tastura Art Center. Here, local musicians introduce the powerful rhythms of Gendang Beleq, Lombok’s iconic traditional drum ensemble.
