CENTRAL LOMBOK, October 6, 2025 – PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) officially launched the 2025 Jasa Raharja Talent Dedication (Bakti Talenta Jasa Raharja or Beta JR) program in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, on Monday, October 6, 2025. This flagship initiative is part of the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan/TJSL) program, aiming to mobilize young Jasa Raharja talents to contribute directly to building a network of safety-integrated villages across Indonesia.
Through Beta JR 2025, Jasa Raharja opens opportunities for employees from the Millennial and Gen Z generations to innovate, collaborate, and develop creative ideas. The main focus of this program is to increase public awareness about the importance of road safety, while simultaneously supporting the sustainable development of regional tourism potential.
After successfully establishing Karang Rejek Village in Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, as a pilot project for a safety-integrated tourism village in Beta JR 2024, this year Jasa Raharja is expanding the program’s reach by selecting Bonjeruk Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency, as the main location for the 2025 Jasa Raharja Talent Dedication.
The selection of Bonjeruk Village is based on its reputation as one of the nation’s leading tourism villages. This village has received various awards, including being a Finalist in the 2019 National Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and being listed among the 50 Best Tourism Villages in the 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Through Beta JR 2025, Jasa Raharja aims to make Bonjeruk Village not only known for its culinary richness, culture, and natural beauty but also as a model tourism village that prioritizes visitor safety and security.
Bonjeruk Village offers diverse tourist attractions, ranging from traditional arts such as gendang beleq (large drum ensemble), wayang (shadow puppetry), and tawaq-tawaq performances, to serene natural panoramas featuring rice fields, bamboo groves, and clear river streams. The tourism experience is further complemented by typical culinary offerings such as ayam merangkat, sate kuncung, roasted coffee, and various traditional snacks.
In implementing Beta JR 2025, Jasa Raharja deploys its best young talents from various regions in Indonesia to collaborate with the Bonjeruk Permai Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). Together with the local community, they will carry out a series of activities, including:
-
Road safety education and vehicle tax awareness for villagers.
-
Traffic safety and environmental cleanliness education for elementary school students and teachers.
-
Capacity-building training for the Pokdarwis in handling tourism accident risks.
-
Mentoring for the development of local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) to enhance their competitiveness.
-
“Menjerukkan Bonjeruk” (Making Bonjeruk More ‘Jeruk’), an initiative to plant orange trees to support food security and environmental conservation in the village.
The company hopes this program can foster a spirit of social responsibility and care among its young talents, while also strengthening Jasa Raharja’s role in creating a culture of safety and sustainability in Indonesia’s tourism sector.
“Beta JR is not merely a social program, but a learning platform for the young generation of Jasa Raharja to make real contributions in building a more safety-conscious society. We want to create synergy between safety, creativity, and local tourism potential,” said a Jasa Raharja representative in their official statement.
With a spirit of collaboration and innovation, Beta JR 2025 is expected to be a concrete step towards realizing positive change in Bonjeruk Village, making it a beautiful, safe, and safety-integrated tourism destination for every visitor.
